For those into boats....

If there is anything that would turn me from 4 wheels to boating this would do the job.....
But there again I don't have the odd few mill. lying around.
nice boat
Pity there's no sountrack - can only imagine what it must sound like on full song.

Beautiful varnish but very compromised as a boat. Really of use only as an expensive tender to a bigger yacht in the med.

And that's why you would need plenty of more million ££££££s, to spend on a Gin-Palace !

was in Marbella last week and they had an etsate agent for boats.. In the window was a 45,000,000 euro boat along with many other slightly cheaper boats but all had 7 digit price tags.. seems the norm when your messing about in millionaires corner...

I asked them how much to dock my boat there for a year.... it's only 6500 EUR for the year which I didn't think was too bad for an 23ft plot.... then i asked if i got a discount because I could let it down and take the oars home....
needless to say, he wasn't amused... but it made me chuckle as he walked away in disgust !

I have a couple of boats, problem is I get dizzy these days blowing them up.

As a sequel to that an ex-colleague who I sent this to reminded me that we'd probably seen this or similar in the flesh.
We were working in Italy around that time and had taken advantage of their then habit of taking religious festivals as holiday during the working week by visiting Porto Fino.
After a particularly indulgent lunch we walked around the dock admiring, amongst others, a Lambo powered powerboat.
By the time we walked (staggered) up to the headland said powerboat took off like a bat out of hell.
Come to think of it I can still hear it going - long after it became a speck on the horizon you could still hear it - magic!
Halycon days...

I was on Holiday in Croatia over the summer and we hired a 50ft sailboat between 6 of us for the week. One evening a huge 3 story motor yacht moors about 100 yards away and completely dwarfs every boat in the harbour. Got the binoculars out and spies the name "Petara'. There was only one restaurant in the little village so we ate there and my missus nudged me saying 'isn't that the F1 bloke'. Looks round and Bernie Eccelstone is there having dinner!

The Petara is literally like a private battleship close up.
