I would like to make a shroud for a small fan, approx 50 mm. I'd usually use aluminium sheet but it needs to be be electrically non conducting,
it is to direct air over computer DDR3 memory.
What material is suitable, some type of plastic sheet that holds its shape and can be glued or better still welded.
How about plasticote ?
Make it from aluminium then coat it ?

Could you use plastic waste pipe. Perhaps gutter down pipe. Plastic drinking glass. Childs cup. Postage tube. Hair product container.
why not use card from a cereal box?
easy to work with, easy to glue.
Thanks for suggestions but no way I'm having any metal items, coated or not, near the pcb.
But I may have found the winner : plasticard, can be shaped at 80 °c so if I make former should be a piece of cake
If you’ve access to a vacuum former you could mud bake a wooden buck then form over it.
3D printed plastic
Was also gonna suggest printed. I have my first 3d printer being delivered soon
PVC pipe?
Or HDPE yougurt or Liquid soap tub?
Myself I'd use a short bit of Ø50mm / Ø2" plastic waste pipe.
Already circular and plastic so it's non-conductive, cheap too!
