I've yet to see a question unanswered on this forum, no matter how obscure... and this is pretty obscure.

I have a washer/dryer (Candy CNW 136)

Have misplaced the destruction manual and now winter has arrived, have started using the dryer.
I can find no 'fluff filter' anywhere! Is it possible that the fluff is trapped in the condensor and pumped out? Kinda like a wet deduster setup. Or have I just not looked in the right places.

The fluff normally gets drained away with the water.

As washers dryers are plumbed in and have a waste pipe (rather than just an air pipe) there isn't usually a fluff filter. Some more expensive models do have a fileter around the pump though.

The hot air coming out of the drum goes through a tube which has a cold water pipe running round it. The cold water pipe cools the walls of the tube, condensing the water vapour in the hot air- this water then goes out the drain tube. The idea is that the drain tube takes fluff away with the condensed water. In practice the condensor tube gets fluffed.
Whipping the back of the unit and looking for the tube usually shows fluff city. I know when I repaired my washer dryer (after 18 months!!! burnt out dryer coil) the tube was fluffed up...
