Not sure if anyone else has recieved this email this morning....
I have never been a customer of GTS to my knowledge so Im not sure why I have recieved it...
but might interest some of you..
---------------------------------------------------------
Greetings!
Thanks for your continued support throughout 2007. We've recently moved workshop, and for a time this caused a big distraction to our everyday
business. Thankfully we are back up and running now, although we are still waiting for a proper landline to be installed!
Our webstore features an automatic discount for repeat customers as our way of showing our appreciation for your loyalty.
Were still busy working away developing new products and refining our existing ones. In this news letter i've featured some of these new
products.
Please note our contact details have changed. We are using an internet phone for land line calls, so you can call us for free on Skype (our name -
GTSTUNING), or 0207 871 0487 from a non-skype phone, or my mobile 07859005985. The old 01474 number is still listed on parts of the website, because i
can't edit it for some reason, but this number no longer works.
Here's wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we hope to catch up with you soon.
Sincerely,
Darren George
GTS Tuning

I hope it marks a turning point and will see GTS getting back on its feet as they seem to have some decent products at good prices...I wish Darren all
the luck in the world...

I am sure that some of GTS Tunings victims, would just love to wish Darren George. A very merry Christmas. NOT

I know of several people who have waited over 6 months for BT to install landlines into their new build properties, so its really no suprise.
I've no particular wish to add fuel to the fire but how can you have a skype phone i.e over broadband internet without a phone line?
Or have i missed something?
I have Virgin broadband which uses cable and thus I needeth no phone
Don't the cable cable installations come with a phone line included?
They do down here, and the near mainland. My bro'inlaw in London, and mate in Weybridge both got phone lines with their cable hookups as well.
Cheers,
Syd.

The new GTS premises are in a very rural area, and it's highly unlikely that there would be a cable service there.
Even a telephone line might involve a run of a quarter of a mile.
You can even get a usb dongle modem thingy from peeps such as T-Mobile, which again negates the need for a phone line........or so I am told.....

My thought was that maybe he is using one of the 3G packages from the likes of Three or Vodafone. At least I hope that is the case otherwise the bit about not having a landline is stretching the truth.
