Many years ago I ran a lightweight LR V8. One day I was on a dual carriageway, straight and level, no other traffic in sight - except for the car
coming down the slip road. He/she/it decided that the perfect spot for them was the bit of road I was occupying. He/she/it suddenly woke up as I
announced the existence of the invisible LR with a blast on the triple air horn...!
He's whittling on a piece of wood. I got a feeling that when he stops whittling, something's gonna happen. (OUATITW/Cheyenne)

Unfortunately it doesnt matter how or what you drive.
I have done a defensive driving course and travel most of the time at or around the speed limit. I am curteous and will always try and let people
join.
Unfortunately people still fell that I am in the wrong when travelling at that speed in the middle lane overtaking a truck etc and endeavour to put me
off the road and I drive an Avensis Estate

All true, I think the IAM course will be a good idea. What's the one the Police do where they belt around country roads? (or is that the same
one?)
Think I shall be pelting her car with mud and hiding the cleaning stuff, then practicing my welding on the F-off bars. I've found they're
illegal but hey they're not bull bars, they're anti-w@*ker bars!
Problem with the recent situations are that she couldn't let anyone "in" or "out" or anywhere they could physically
go...

Train horns as mentioned somewhere else on here recently. One of them ugly grandad masks with the curly hair tend to keep people away from you as
well....
I find watching out for the them and suspecting every thing near me to be a nutter helps me anticipate their moves. Either slowing down or speeding up
can get you out of the way of such situations, or drive in the inside lane like its designed for.

Ive put a 44ft box lorry up on the chevrons at a junction in a corsa before.
He pulld out into slip lane for the exit, cruised down it and then at the last minute indicated to pull back in, si on my faded red corsa I sat just
far enough back he could see me in the mirrors and matched his speed till he was buggered.
Its not big and its not clever but I was smiling for ages!
