A nice drive the other day

I had a nice drive the other day, Typed Trier into the tomtom and set limited speed to 40kmh, this means you end up going cross country (or countries.)

Took about 5 hours in total from Utrecht, following the river Waal, then heading south a bit then through some German national parks to the Eiffel/Mozelle region. Its lovely down there, and once you get into the German countryside its just empty roads, in pretty good condition and vineyards.

The only stupid moment was when i ran out of fuel on the way back under the belief that I had a spare can in the back. You can only imagine my surprise when I went to chuck it in and found I'd left it at home.

Very nice. I'm too suspicious of mine breaking down that I'll only drive it within a mile radius of my house
