Lovely day for it..

9am, Nice sunny morning so me and Bumper went down to Mookaloids to pick an alternator up.. didn't intend staying out but missed one of the turns to get back up north so decided to take a detour..

Here's Bumper on a road I have no idea where...

Some nice skinny empty roads over the moors and ended up here, its 1pm now..

An hour later after refueling in Kirby Stephen turned north through Middleton in Teesdale turn left, followed the road and ended up here...

Two high peaks in an hour, bet the cyclist wish they could do that!

Here's some pics from Hartside...

1976 FSIE, absolutely mint..

1975 Suzuki kettle with matching 1970's luggage

A nice (new) Enfield... donor lurking behind...

Grand ride round, another 200 miles on Bumper. Saw 2 other 7's one going round top of Hartside, miserable bugger didn't stop. Them a black J reg MK or MNR in a petrol station around Crook. Me being a miserable bugger didn't stop

Aye, went for about an hours drive today, great driving, got home, reversed onto the drive, into the garage, turned off the engine, got out walked round to the front and heard a pop then all the coolant fell out, how lucky was that! Ends up a coolant hose had expanded when in a traffic jam just on the high street on the way back and it had expanded so much that it started to rub on my alternator belt. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow!

Looks like you had a good day

Cheers

Rich

Superb!! You definitely got about a bit then, both Hartside and Tan Hill- good effort!

Anybody know why the Atom had mismatched tyres? Looks like it could be a little tail happy!

Man I love the Fizzie and the Kettle. The memories come flooding back.

I haven't been to Hartside for years!

One for the list of things to do places to visit when the Indy is on the road.

Thanks Coozer
