MOT pass
After my anger at DVLA for mucking up the online record for the car and forcing me to MOT early, pleased to say he flew through the test - RH exhaust
was a tad high on HC but he allowed me to play a bit and we suspect a dodgy Lambda sensor as the CO was fine.
Only other non-MOT thing was the low oil pressure switch decided to start weeping oil during the test (been fine before - isn't it always the
way) so a quick purchase at Stoneleigh will be in order.
Super guy in the most beat up area of Moseley in Brum imaginable (he was a good recommendation from a good mechanic I know) - let me spend ages under
the car on the ramp checking everything I wanted too. The infamous powercoating looks OK in the main - My Grant vintage chassis was done after he
moved into his new place in Peterborough so I might have a good one...
Happy boy - birthday tomorrow and sun is forecast
