Yes, used them on my Subaru a few years ago, they were ok.
I would reccomend you look at Falken though

How good do we think they are in the snow?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

if theyre as good as the a048s were at pulling away on an icy hill, theyll be more than fine for me!
...are they comparable to a048s? thats what were using now...

No idea with that model, but Federal are decent tyres as a rule.

ps. Speedy, my Toyo 888's were fine in the snow on the Grimsel pass... A Subaru Forrester went off the edge in the same conditions though!

I had a set on my Bongo and they were terrible. I took them off after two months and replaced them with Hankooks which were great. But the Federals I
had weren't motorsporty in any way. Just seemed to be the right size, for the right price at the right time........until I had to buy four
Hankooks to replace them!
