What would you have done? I would have sh1t my pants for sure, then probably hit the lorry. Great bit of fast thinking by the driver.

Very impressive bit of evasive driving.
There was only one way he could have gone and had about 1/2 a second to decide

Good video
As a bonus on the same page is a link to a "how to insert a tampon" video. Many, many thanks for that

Ride a bike and you too will also learn to get out of moments like that or die.

Seeing as I knew something was going to happen I thought I should see how quickly I could make a decision and if I was right.
I would have ended up in his cab as I thought "right right right!"

When I was motorcycling (and it still applies in a car), when someone pulls out in front of you, always aim for the opening gap, ie behind them. Gotta
admit, that would deffo have been slightly worrying.

I have to wonder what the hell the truck driver was doing. Did he have brake failure after a long hill descent or was he just reinforcing truck
driver stereotypes by trying to overtake the van into oncoming traffic?
Driver of the car did exceptionally well though, I reckon very few drivers would have escaped without a collision in that situation.
