Sitting here stuck on the M42....not moved for half an hour....just north of Tamworth.
Anybody know what's happened ?

Claire, latest report @10.09 is congestion caused by roadworks reducing Northbound to one lane.
If Southbound is straight congestion
Put Classic FM on and have a chill.

Might be a biggy....so far 1 ambulance , 4 police vehicles and a fire engine have gone past down the hard shoulder .

Thankfully the traffic started moving at 12.20...........then my satnav got me lost (loads of new roads) , and my 45min journey finally came to an end
- 4 1/2 hours later
