Why me? Part1

Following on from the Why is it? threads....

So, wakes up this morning at Newark, packs everything up and DOH.. the batteries flat....

Thanks to MNR having a booster I get it started....

Few hours later try it again to go home.. flat DOH!

Booster again vroooooomm..

SO, need some fuel... take the key off the ring for the filler so I can leave it running..

You know where this is going...

Fills it up.. wait for a gap in the A1... band! goes for it.. yes you guess it.. forgot to put the cap back on... DOH!

Why is it I use my tintop everyday without anything going wrong but every time me and bumper go out something crap happens??

Thing is, can I get the insert from somewhere? Its the same one as most of us have where the key fits them all????

Steve DOH!

Bad luck, I think we saw you travelling north on A19 as we were heading south towards Teeside at about 3.30pm, wondered what yesterday's socks were doing hanging out of the filler pipe!
At least it was a good day to drive up weatherwise
