Are 7's invisible???????
On a run out with SWIMBO on Sunday, had three attempts made to total the MK  Driving at the speed limit, in traffic and the morons just pull out
 One was so close wifey actually screamed, a natural reaction seeing as she was, aparently, the target!
I mean, the MK looks and sounds like an angry wasp, not actually hard to spot.
Two 8 LED super bright DRL's on order.

I have DRLs and headlights on if its not bright sunlight and someone still tried to pull out.

I don'tsuffer too much with the Fury. I think sometimes 7's in traffic they can be hard to spot from the perspective of someone waiting to
join from a junction. The nose and bonnet are obscured by the car in front and the front wheel and rear wing are black on many cars and less
obvious.
It's a bit like people not seeing cyclists and motorbikes; You see what you're looking for and in most cases they're looking for
(conventional) cars.
I'd see if the DRL's help, probably best fitted as wide as possible (have you seen the MEV with them on the front edge of the cyclewings?)
and leave more gap to the car in front, so more of your car is apparent to waiting vehicles.

This is one of the reasons im going to paint my roll cage bright orange 
Don't think I ever had a problem in the Fury though, that was bright orange too

As has been said DRL seem to make a difference.
Having said that there was a 7 coming the other way into Reading yesterday and it was remarkable how insignificant it looked head-on even to me.
I suppose we are so used to most tin-tops having bulk and mass that something as low and narrow doesn't register.

I'd be interested to get opinions on DRLs. I did think of fitting some, but most guys seemed to think that headlights on during the day gives
you just as much chance of being seen. I normally run with them on all the time.
If DRLs are recommended, then which ones? Locost of course
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

DRLs are pointless IMO, just run on headlights. I have done for years in all my tintops.

A young driver pulled out into the side of the Brian James shuttle (the big white thing), while I was towing it with the Transit 330 Hightop (a big
white van thing). I was exiting a roundabout, he entered before the trailer cleared his path.
Apparently he didn't see the van, or the trailer and didn't even know (and denied) he had hit it.... despite the clear evidence of his
bumper and front valence attached to the trailer and the trail of water from his holed radiator....
Go figure what you have to do to make a 7 'visible'.

Just people today in a hurry and on their mobile phones txting.
If they cant see a big van with a trailer what chance have the got spotting a 7
Think about it, think about it again and then do it.

Drive defensively like a biker is the only way unfortunately.
My worst moment was nearly a head on with an Audi who checked the dip before the overtake but wasnt looking for a car with a 4 inch ride height and a
4ft max height ?
I have considered lights for the roll bar for this reason

I thought of a bright light on the roll bar, perhaps a nice shade of blue!
Could help with heavy traffic too.
