i have size 10 feet and normally wear skate shoes like Vans and yes they are far too wide!
i'd go for some narrower ones with a thin sole myself, or else you will be mashing 2 pedals at once!

I have 12 or 13. It's good getting shoes actually - no need to choose, just go into the shop & you HAVE to buy the only pair they've
got. I'm doing a book locost & reckon there's just enough room to hit one pedal at a time. As was pointed out some shoes are much more
suitable than others

PS doesn't get me laid as often as it should either......

Keep a look out for "factory outlet" type shops, theres a Puma outlet near us and they had the replica racing boots for about £15 in
unusual sizes they couldn't sell
Not sure if they went upto size 14 but they were certainly the larger and very smallest sizes they had left.
Me and me dad are size 10 and 11 and wear either these style boots or the Addidas Goodyear trainers.
We can get away with other trainers but its much better with these and no hair raising monents when you get both pedals

I've got size 13 feet and I took my unused christmas present on my test drive, yep slippers.
While your in Sheffield pop over to MAC#1, they square off the footwell and Colin will offset the pedals to give you more room.
This was one of the few cars I could operate the pedals in.

adidas tuscanys for me (the goodyear soled ones) size 10, 100mm at the widest part of the sole, like i was wearing at newark.
they've got a rounded heel, which suits the driving position of something 7 stylish, and the thin soles give really good pedal feel. slippers
would appear to have very similar properties, and for about a tenth of the price of mine.
if you can't get any proper driving shoes, i'd seriously consider some slippers, a bit of gaffer tape over the top to keep them held tight
on your feet too.
