Ah... now I remember!
I actually managed to get out in my car yesterday, due to an unexpected day off work. Glorious weather, dry roads, not too many cars being mid-week
& mid-day, and bleedin' cold! Great fun though - my car's engine loves cold weather.
I wish it could be like that on the weekends...

I was out for my first proper run as well yesterday. Newcastle to Otterburn and back. You're right about it being cold. Forgot my gloves and
nearly froze my fingers off.
Just after coming out of Belsay there is a long straight and I opened it up to see what we can top out at. Bottled it as we easily got into three
figures, eased back for a series of bends and as we came onto the next straight I checked my mirrors. Mr Plod in a Volvo with all the lights on.
Luckily as I slowed down he just blasted past me and off towards Scotland.
Lucky, that's more than lucky.
Cheers
Mike

Did you hit a bump Chris?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

It was during yesterday's outing that I decided that my car's getting loud (see exhaust repacking thread elsewhere). Driving through
Ipswich past some old maltings buildings (big, high, concrete walls) when I gave it some welly - I'm sure everyone on the street turned round to
see who the hooligan was, driving the noisy car!
I thought it was loud, and I had my crash helmet on!

You're a funny bloke Pete.
Just not today.
