First "nip up the road"

Turning the 7 round this morning after getting the injection set up a bit better and couldn't resist a quick squirt up the road...............seems to go ok

Brakes well as well, nice pedal pressure for lockup and fronts locking first on a totally guessed balance bar setting.

The paddle clutch is a touch on the sharp side but feels very nicely weighted (was a bit of an unknown with the DIY concentric hydraulic setup)

Really hard to judge anything when you are driving a new car (and no cars ever seem to feel very quick to me for some reason, even when they are 3.5 sec 0-60 sort of performance) so took my brother for a quick squirt up the road and he deemed it pretty quick, well his description was Oblivion at Alton Towers but forwards instead of down!!!

Best get the seats made and some harnesses fitted I s'pose!

Love the prognosis! Oblivion only forwards! Sounds like you've got a well sorted car on your hands - well done mate. I know after my first "nip up the road" my brakes felt crap...didn't take long to rip the rear drums off and get the greenstuff and grooved discs everywhere! How long till SVA then???

I reckon I will book it in two weeks time for an "asap" date, want to get the brakes set up and the emissions checked at my MOT man's place first

I had to take my Alfa powered heap out of the garage and off the drive to make room to build my trailer. I just took it up the road to turn it round but ended up running out of petrol in the next village! I then wished it didn't look like such a shed. It woud have looked better with a bonnet, some seats and a screen. But it was still there 20mins later when I got there with a pot of juice and it didn't have a 'Police Aware' sticker on it!
