WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR LAP TIMES?

*shamelessly nicked from Pistonheads*

New video product shows the best lines

Ever wanted to improve your lap times? Tracknite has come with a way that it claims can help you shave seconds off.

The company claims that its first product, nitePace, is an affordable and easy-to-use software application to help track day and amateur racing drivers discover exactly where they win and lose those all-too-important seconds on track.

Costing £24.90, nitePace allows drivers to analyse and compare track videos. And according to the company, unlike any other product currently on the market, nitePace does not require any in-car data logger; all nitePace needs is the video footage from the driver's existing camera setup.

nitePace provides an unbiased record of lines and times that can be reviewed once the event is over and is the perfect solution for comparing past, present and future performance.

nitePace is ideal for those who already video their sessions, the company claimed. And, for those who don't yet use video, nitePace provides a good excuse to start using it to improve their pace. Drivers simply open their video files in nitePace, add lap and sector markers to their sessions and compare laps to gain an in-depth understanding of the effects of their driving technique. The company called it "a whole new way to look at track video".

Tracknite is offering a free, no-obligation 30-day evaluation licence.

I don't know about you but I would prefer spending the money on some tuition.
Track knowledge and practice sessions prior to the race would be better money spent.
I don't see how it would be that accurate from visual clues?
You could do the same with a stop watch!

£24.90 won't get you much tuition but it is a fair comment ...
