Out and about
Had to go to the next village yesterday so I took the Noddy car. On the way back I took the long route, on arriving back at my place I drove straight
past and carried on for another 50 miles. Got home at dusk; around 6pm. I had a great time! Since I've been on the road I've discovered so
much more about the area where I live. I've explored winding lanes that I wouldn't have normally driven down and seen places that are
tucked away off the beaten track. This is what it's all about for me. Looks like I got in a nice drive just before the unfriendly weather set
in!
By the way I've just gone over 3000 miles which means I can't drive my car anymore until August when I renew my insurance!
Be careful out there!

Just phone the insurance company up and increase the mileage on your policy. Most will ammend it for you.

One of the magents (out of 2) came off my prop for the speedo sensor.
Now it only reads 50% of my actual speed. Damn.

Jon,
As David says - just ring the insurance company and extend the mileage. They'll stiff you for an admin fee + the extra premium, but it
won't add up to a huge bill - prob less than you think.

Took the car over to my parents today for mothers day. Lovely day but bit cold, so wooly hat and sunglasses. Half way there I can see the rain clouds
behind me, so try and out run them! Doesnt work, so get a little bit wet, which I can deal with, until it starts hailing! That hurts!
Stop to put helmet on, starts snowing! 5 mins later the sun is back out.
Lovely blast though, but alot colder than last week!

Took some garden rubbish down the tip (trailer behind the tintop) and realised that the roads were dry, the sun was shining brightly, etc. etc. so
when I got home I took the toy car out for a brief spin...
...but in the tintop you don't realise how cold the air is! Great fun for a short whizz-around the neighbourhood though.
