not bad i've covered 900miles since my sva, on the way to spalding tonight there was a big cloud of steam from the bonnet. nothing to bad just a hose come off, bit of a bugger though as i lost my water wetter.

luck i had some water and tools with me, just didnt get time to use the £10 worth of juice i had just put in

That's the only thing that has caused me a problems so far - i.e. a hose coming off.

I used some domestic high temp plastic water pipe in my cooling system. Not sure if it went a bit soft or was too short [I'm still talking about my cooling system].

The longer piece I replaced it with has been OK so far.

I'm thinking I should replace with some Ali pipe.

What do you think?

Stu

At least copper plumbing pipe! plastic is temperature rated for liquid running through it not radiant heat from exhausts or contact heat from touching or being fixed to hot bits! I f you like the copper look polish it if not spray black, no one need ever know it isn't expensive ally pipe that has been powder coated
