Calvinx,
I am not a good calculator, I used sierra gearbox and diff, and 195/55 r15 rear wheel.

Because mine has a really torquey lump in it, it actually hits the soft cut on the rev limiter in top, and no I am not going to say how fast that is,
police may be checking this site, as well as some others!!! But for those that want to guess, 205 x 40 on 17" rims, V6 type nine, 3.62 diff,
soft cuts at 5700. Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy

3.78
110 mph = 177kmh
maybe mondeo is faster
maybe when you are 110 mph your engine is at max rev?
This is only a curiosity, I do not like hight speed I like acceleration.

You seem to have the same setup as me, my pinto is 115bhp, my diff is 3.75 (capri) and a type 9. I have had an indicated 128 on the speedo which
equates to 112 true speed, and 0-60 is a fraction over 6 seconds, 'verified' by video camera on the speedo!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
