track days herts beds area
hi any of you guys near me been on any track day in the area. where did you go whats it like. this will be my first track day any advise

I went on my first track day at Bedford Autodrome.
Plus points:
It's all on a big flat airfield site, with plenty of runoff if you cock it up.
It's got some straights where you can give it full welly.
No really nasty bends (for beginners)
Minus points (for me):
The circuit laid out when I went there was the long one, c. 4 miles, so by the time you got round to a given bend, you might have forgotten how to
approach it.
It did get a bit boring, but it was good practice to get used to the car and because it was laid out in a long circuit there was never any major
problem with cars bunching up.

Its a really low noise site carefully monitored, I doubt if your R1 engined beast will get in unless you have a restrictive can and baffle the inlet
tracts...
