you were right, thursday was a right off
But I still spent 3 hours out yesterday afternoon.
Missues is at work today, so my 4 year old wants to go in the noisy car to see her at work
And tommorrow is forecast for sun yet again.
For all you lot who put your toys away for the winter, your missing a lot of fun, even if your cars will need a good clean before the summer

do you need a child seat to take your 4 y/o in the locost? just interested as my mates lad would love a ride out in my elise.

I have a seat insert for my little lad. He's been using it since we got on the road over two years ago. I have Triton's Wizards Hat
seats with the removable inserts. Mark very kindly sent me a spare base, which I added about 4" of shaped polystyrene to, then padded, then
covered in the same vinyl as the rest of the pads. Works brilliantly and looks OK. I know it's not type approved, or TUV, but neither is the
rest of the car, and it's better made / finished than some production kids car seats.

There was some posts on here a while back, and it seems the law is debatable when it comes to 4 point harnesses. I don't bother with a booster
seat and the harnesses fasten my daughter in as securely as when she was in a baby seat.
I do believe she is secure as I cannot move her in the seat when she has got the harnesses on and am perfectly happy to argue the point with any
copper.
I do of course drive gently down country roads were the chance of meeting a traffic cop is zero.
Take your little ones out for a short drive and take it from there.
I did about 30 miles this morning and little one has already asked to go out again
Share the fun. Scratching around is fun, but the smile on little ones face when poddling along is just as good.

Has your Elise got three point harnesses. If so a booster seat is mandortary.
If you have 4 point harnesses, search this forum as my beleif is if the harnesses fall more or less onto the shoulder of the lad he will be safe, and
as I said on my prvious post it does seem we fall outside the current legislation.
Don't quote me, this is just my opinion and stay away from busy roads, were the chance of an accident is reduced.

Our little one went in the GTM with me when she was 3.
Her car seat is the type that the main seat belt holds in place. Seeing as a Rossa is 60% of an Elise for 10% of the price, I see no reason why
not.
Hope he enjoys it
