god it was wet yesterday
Went to see the formula 3 practice yesterday and it was very very wet 
i was meeting a friend who only has a tin top so i knew i had some shelter. when i got up it was raining but the met report said that it was dry in
Norwich so i thought it would be ok. SWMBO said that the plan had always been to take the MK so the boy and i packed some dry clothes in a back pack
and set off.
the spray was bad but the faster you went the less water came in the car.
to much ammusement we arrived and parked up, covered the passenger cell with a car cover and tied it down, and waited. my mate turned up 15 mins later
we were like drowned rats....
after we changed we watched the racing. in the british GT3 class there were lots of exotics but the fastest was a ford GT40 which was having its first
outing. god it went and what a noise
there were many offs and crashes due to the rain but that made it more fun.
we set off home in the rain, but it was not so bad, the spray was less and i got home with only damp trowsers.
it was like driving on ice, the back end would step out when in a straight line if too much power was applied too quick.
but it ran like a dream and felt great.. on duel carriageways it had to be held back, 80 was just pedestrian.
i realy must put the windscreen on and make some weather gear so i can use the car when ever i want. i fear that this weather will only become more
the norm as years go by and i want to drive
i may be stupid taking a car with no screen and no weather gear out in the pouring rain. i may also be stupid for believing the weather reports.
but i brought a smile to many peoples faces and the boy and i had a lot of fun

Fair play that man.
Making the most of our lovely weather and yep, lt's the fun that counts.

it's very sunny and hot here today a total change from yesterday.
just wheeled the MK out to let it dry it's the cleanest i've ever seen the car all sparkling and black, well 10 hours of rain and
"a good Jet Wash" (driving in the rain) has got all the finger prints off
just got to see if i can get out for a "small" drive later after the gardening
