insurance
my indy has tax and test, but i have insurance probs (see other post), would my fully comp tin tip insurance cover me to drive a car that hasnt got
insurance or would it only cover me to drive a already insured car ?

I think the car needs to be insured and I don't think you would be insured as you need specialised insurance for a kit car, i could be wrong
though!

Cover for driving other vehicles is only for vehicles not owned by or registered to you.

So does this mean my wife can drive my kit on her insurance? She is allowed to drive other cars "third party" only providing they are
not owned by her.

Sign up for a policy online....go for a drive...
Then cancel it within 7 days

As above - the car needs to be insured itself mate so neither you or your better half can drive it. Have they actually cancelled the insurance??
Checked on the Motor Insurance Database to see??
