Out and about in the sun!
Just been out and about round suffolk with SWMBO in the Tigger
weather was great and car ran really well.. we probably did about 60 miles and didn't brek down once!!!
slowly building confidence in the beast now and getting the tuning a bit better so it runs niceley now...
hacking about the twisty lanes of suffolk had SWMBO smiling alomst as much as me!
Saw a Westfield and (I think) a stryker out and about having fun...
SO who else has made the most of today?
<stll grinning>

I tried to go out and about just after lunch - came across an endless procession of drivers who'd decided that 35mph in a 60mph zone was more
than fast enough, thank you...
...just couldn't get going, which took all the fun out of it.
Mind you, I did give it WOT around a couple of roundabouts, which helps to get a grin back on my face...

did about 70 miles.
went into ipswich to drop something off and at a set of lights a transit pulls up next to me and starts reving the passenger was saying he's
not with me...
well the lights went amber and he's off, i waited till the green and took off with loads of spin in a couple of seconds i was 50 yards ahead
of him both me and my passenger smiling
then went to colchester via bentley and manningtree and as david J says some slow old people out there.
there were another 4 sevens out in colchester, most were cateringvans and westfields but all were friendly and gave a wave.
on the way back i turned off at ardley and found a Red MNR on my tail and there followed a most enjoyable chase through the lanes at speed
i eventually stopped near manningtree station and introduced my self. the first thing he said was are you on locostbuilders.
well Stuart_G has a very impressive car beautifully finished
my passenger and i, both over 16 stone had a great time and stuart is a very friendly guy.
Bec verses Cec, i'm glad I had all that torque with all that weight
good to put faces to names and have a great drive. I'm still smiling now

I had an excellent day out dispite my passenger side wing stay breaking. Thanks very much to Ross for welding it back up for me so I could get back on
my way.
Caught up to Ditchlewis and son on the way back and had an excellent spirited drive chasing them down some nice back roads I never knew
existed That car is quick with that tuned Pintosaurus, I was impressed (still reckon I could have got past though if there was a long
enough straight)
What a great day, I actually got sunburnt on my face and kneck
There is a track day at Woodbridge ex RAF base today that I'm going to go and watch. If anyone is out and about the area come over. I hope the
weather holds out again today.

And another great day out!!
started off with a trip to Woodbridge to check out the trackday, saw some intersting cars and some familiar faces. A couple of very nice MNRs up
there...
then off out for a blat round the lanes of Suffolk.. did about another 50 miles - yet again breakdown free
hope you all managed to get out there too...
