Trackday virgin
I'm thinking of pulling a sickie Frid. to have a shake-down run at Hullavington before SVA re-test.
The day is organised by Motorsport Events.
Question is can I drive the F27 on one of their days without it having passed SVA or being taxed etc? The only stipulation I can see on their website
for their scrutineering is that cars must be "roadworthy".
I don't really want to ask them the question in case it triggers a negative response so any thoughts appreciated.

I'd ring 'em and ask. You'ld be unlikely to get a refund if you turned up and they turned you away. I doubt it'd be a problem
unless it's a clause in their indemnity insurance...

If you havn't booked yet then they want the business, so they won't just make up that you can't come on it to be awkward. And if you
can't come on, then that isn;t going chance before Friday.
Id just phone and if they say "no" then check you are speaking to the organ grinder not the monkey.

I've been to quite a few, and never had any kind of inspection or look-over. swmbo's dad's car was leaking water on one of
MSE's days, and they said if we couldn't fix it they'd have to black-flag us, as we were spraying water over anyone following us....
roadworthy for a trackday pretty much just means bits aren't going to fall off, leak, damage anyone else or their cars, etc. Most trackday
operators take a sensible approach to it and will let you try and fix something before they kick you off the track - there will also likely be other
people there who can give suggestions / help in the paddock if you do have problems.
As long as the car is SVA / MOT-able, you should be fine.

Just phoned them.
Nice lady, Natasha, at M/sport Events even knew what an F27 was!
Only real restriction is evidently a local authority one and that's against using competition cars.
Reading between the lines it's anything that is roadworthy - less than 100db.
BTW they run a charity day at Keevil in May, last one we went on was £10/lap in a GT3 Porker or Noble - brilliant!
