Keeping Luggage Dry??

I'm at loss on how to effectively keep my gear dry.. lashing it mostly onto the boot lid and roll bar I have a tent sleeping back, seat, bag of clothes etc.

What I fancy is a nice bit of custom luggage to fit the bag and chuck every thing in but atm its out of the range of my up coming job seekers

I've got a couple of them dry bags Aldi were selling but they are quite small and keeping the bag a nd clothes dry is Ok what can use for the tent (apart from bin bags!)??

I don't know what you got from Aldi, but my experiences are very good. Inform at your local motorbike dealer or motorbike webshop.

Most boaty shops sell big dry bags. I've got one that I can put the whole car in. It is a very small car........

Presumably the best thing would be a dry bag which you could pump the air out of to make it as small as possible and less prone to flapping.

Personally I'd use a big bin bag

Hell that means I would need to pack the "DYSON" and a Genny...... What the heck I'll fit a tow bar and put it all in a trailer with a LID.!!!!!!

Bin Bags.... line your bags with bin bags so if they do get wet the contains doesn't. You can even put a bin bag over the bag itself.

It'll keep most rain out.

Locost Solution ! use it all the time in my rucksack.

I have the Aldi ones (two of them) and they work just great.
Excellent for £7 a go.
