Had exactly the same conditions in Aberdeen city center about 5 years ago.
We were called out to dozens of smashes (firefighter). A heavy hail shower followed by freezing rain .

It was like curling with cars, you could push cars sideway so easy it was amazing.

Even the camber of the road was enough to send cars into the Curb where they then got stuck.

Also manged to flatten a lamp post with the engine (oops)

i cringed every time one of the cars hit another, its painful watching it, let alone what it would have been like for the drivers!
