I doubt therefore I may be.

A rather circuotous (sp) route saw me clock 204 miles, which in hindsight was a mistake what with now having to take the engine out this weekend to
replace the crank rear oil seal. Hopefully I haven't shagged the clutch with oil

204 Miles there, 176 return, (came back using the sat nav). 380 total. Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy

A Robin Hood came down from Edinburgh so I think that was just a bit over the 600 for the round trip.

Just be grateful you dont drive a petrol Land Rover at 16mpg (4 pot) or 18mpg for a V8
Even my Diesel Landy manages 24mpg.
You are not alone in your pain.
PS... V8 Viento does 26mpg @ 80 mph cruising and a nice 3000rpm
I did just under 200 miles round trip to Stoneleigh.
Not a lot between any of them!
A V8.... Will pass everything on the road ... Except a Petrol Station
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
