Should I drive to the office in the Indy tomorrow?

I need to be at the office in Oxford tomorrow for a meeting. I'd really like to drive up in the Indy but don't yet trust it for a 150 mile round trip.

Would need to leave at 0645 so roads will be quiet enough and weather forecast is good.

Should I go for it?

Do it. You know you want to.

When you are decrepit and old you wont wish that you'd spent more time at the office when you were younger. If you break down its a bonus and you can enjoy the weather at the side of road. Plus you'll have a good excuse.

I can imagine the conversation will go like this:

Me: 'Hi, can't make the meeting as I have broken down on the M40'

Manager: 'Really, I thought Toyota's were supposed to be really reliable, It's only 3 months old!'

Me:'Errrr....'

I'd suggest 'Me: Yeah, I've called the AA/RAC/GreenFlag and get it sorted out...'

The devil in me would be wanting to say '...and I read they are environmentally worse than a Range Rover when taking everything into account, who'd have thought reading Toyota's advertising'
