Blinkin 'eck!!!.
Im 54 in March.
Growing OLD is compulsory
Growing UP is optional
in the last 10 years:
Rebuilt two Lightweight Landrovers from the concrete upwards.
Re-Chassis'd my daily ride - LandRover 12 seater, 1984, owned and self maintained for last 12 years.
Built the Viento.
Not too sure what to do next.
Wife is just happy that I am in the garage and not chasing women
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards
Geoff

I didn't think people that old had the get up and go to chase women anymore?!

Crikey your old! That makes you 63/64! Having said that, the wife's dad is 58.
Edited to say, done using my old maths. I was taught a proper way, but did run out of toes at one point.

Remember, women that old cannot run that fast either
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

as one of the elders, I feel compelled to tell the short story of the two bulls.
Young bull says "hey, look at the lovely cows! let's run down there and get us one!"
Old(er) bull says "let's walk down there and get them all!!"

"phelpsa" must be the youngest on here, wasn't he doing his GCSE thingies a year early this year? That would make him 14/15 I
guess.
Wish I'd started that young, car might have been finished by now

You youngsters aint lived
I'm old enough to have seen Lotus Cortinas, Jag E Types, Ford Anglias , chevvy cameros, mustangs and Aston Martins to name but a few racing in
saloon car events at Mallory Park in the 60's. Graham Hill wiped the floor with everyone in a Lotus Cortina, and in between races he water
ski'ed on the lake. Top bloke.
Don't think Schooey could have coped with that!
Oh incidentally, 52yrs young.
Congrats on the newcomer soggy

Becoming a father has to add at least 10 years onto how old you feel!
I jumped 10 years when I got my first mortgage and another 5 years when I got married. Now I feel thoroughly grown up and laden with responsibility -
couldn't handle kids as well!

I've got two teenage boys who are great fun and also very handy grovelling into tight places on the kitcar where my poor ageing bones
won't allow. I've had the eldest upside down in the footwell doing the occasional job.
Yup kids can be a pain in the arris, but veree handy at times
Oh and their favourite sport seems to be taking the p*ss out of my decrepit age.
Cheers
Dave

Thought I'd wait before posting on this thread......
51 Today
Now, any chance of a 60+ category, then I wouldn't be in the "really old" group.
