Finally on the road!
Its been about 6 months since I bought my Locost off ebay and stripped it to a frame!
I have replaced practially everything apart from the frame and bodywork! Its been a steep learning curve, I owe alot of thanks to the guys on here for
all you help and advice. Without it im sure, the rebuild would still be ongoing and would of cost me alot more!!
I insured and taxed in on saturday (its still moted) and went out for my first drive in the cold!! I was sh**ing myself at first because 1) its the
first time i have EVER driven a kit car on the road, let alone one I have built, and 2) I was just waiting for something to fall off!
Well nothing fell off, just, although my acewell speedo stopped working (magnet has dissapeared) and i have noticed an oil leak appear!
Apart from that, It went fine. I will be putting a few miles on it when the weather permits and will hopefully see you guys around when on the road or
at a show!!
Thanks alot from one happy locoster!

It is it a bit nerve wracking that first drive, it took me all summer to find the car reliable enough for long journeys, but it still makes you feel
proud that all that hard work was worth it.
Congrats mate.
Brad.
