Not a bad day but still plenty of snow round here.. Think I will leave it till they stop salting the roads...

Round here they seem to use that 'modified salt' with added ingredients to stop it being washed away - which results in roads that are permanently 'shiny', even after 2 dry days.

If I take my car out, it's covered in salt when I get home - not good on bare ali.

It's a total PITA, as I love driving it on sunny cold winter days, as the engine runs so well.

I did fancy a look out but as mentioned the road looked dry but white with salt.

Not really worth getting it coated in the rotting stuff.

I was sorely tempted today.... got in the garage and fired up the engine. Happily my re-directed coolant system didn't spring a leak and my modified engine cradle didn't break when I gave it the stationary beans.... I now stink of RON95

Now just got to sort out the loose Lobro bolts at the back (quick removal, degrease [bolt+thread] and threadlock should do the trick) and its time to test the strength of my welding properly. Drag strip starts here we come!!!

Definately felt a bit springy today. Down my neck of the woods we even had people sat outside the cafes!!! (but people round here are so cool and trendy they'd sit outside to be seen in anything > 5 degC)....

I'd have loved to go out, but it's started snowing again here. And even if it wasn't, I wouldn't get out of my close as the road it still iced up.

We took the jago upon the fells- snow hasn't given any since midde of last week- but it is heavily compacted and icy.
My lad has created his own "Westfield slalom style course" [locost style] and we have had a brilliant time, good news is it has just started snowing again!

Been out and loved it. The roads were slippery though, kept wheel spinning in 2nd and once in 3rd which made it hairy. Covered in salt though and I didn't think to wash it, doh.

Got myself out at about 6pm til about 8ish when it started to rain!!

Roads were pretty good, dry and no salt here in rayleigh/southend.

Think the carbs sucked some crap cos it ran a bit rough at low revs but gave it some beans which seemed to cure it

Just want more nice weather so I can keep having that silly grin!!
