Dell lap top Vista Help PLEASE!!!!!
Can anybody please help, Daughters lap top wont allow us to log on. Get error message saying: the profile service service failed the log on. User
profile cannot be loaded. Daughter is driving me mad for MSN any help wuld be great, by the way pc novice

you could always try running a repair on it. vista seems quite good at this. simply boot off the windows vista install cd, and choose the repair
option. it then goes off and checks previous restore points, then restores one, and reboots.

Try hitting F8 during start up and choosing safe mode then doing a system restore from the accesories and system tools menu and choose a date prior to
the fault.
The other way is the edit the registry from within safe mode but isn't for the faint hearted.
