I would also say ear plugs.
Even with the lid, you get a lot of noise. When I got mine I did a 3 hour drive and even with the lid on, I got out half deaf.
enjoy it and take care.

Very small footwear. Don't expect to drive it in size 12 Nike Air!

weather should be better tommorow I live 5 mins from MK and its banging it down at the moment. To get the best enjoyment wear a cap and a well fitting
pair of sunglassess. The cars can bite so make the best use of your drive home use a an b roads.
Also recommend you pop to Argos and buy a Fishing umbrella theyre ideal when you have to pull over due to downpours. The bike helmet is good when your
hammering it or if its peeing it down, they are an aquired taste I find and can be restrictive on your view.

A wind-proof jacket is good, unless it's hot and humid (like at the moment).
A choice of clothing is probably a good idea - t-shirt, fleece, jacket - so you can put on or take off items as needed.
Be very, very gentle with the throttle if the road's wet!

as someone has already said, take it easy on the twisty bits, roundabout etc.
two weeks of sun followed by rain is a recipe for greasy roads. rwd + greasy roads, equals increased underpant usage.

A Drill and Drill-bit if it's raining...
Drill the base of the seat - nothing like sat in a puddle of rain...

As above. Just sit back and take it easy and when you get home you wont be able to take the grin off your face.
