well done! Any tough bits that were touch and go?

I've been looking through my fail sheets, all three pages and think once the car is back together in the next few days I'll have address 90% of them.

It'll just be emissions, noise, self centre and speedo which will be guess work!

First time fail was on emissions, self centering, noise and he also wanted a pinch bolt on the mushroom inserts (sierra uprights) which wa an easy fix.

First re-test sorted everything expect the speedo, which I simply ran out of time on, so I went back yesterday morning just to get the speedo checked.

It was a bit of guess work but I learned what all the switches on my speedo healer control so I could dial in the calibration - the tester was really helpful in helping me figure out what percentage reductions were needed.

Got there after 3 cracks at the rollers - it;s still a little out but well within the SVA tolerances - decided to just take the pass rather than try and get it more accurate and risk cocking it up too much and running out of time (and hence failing again).

as soon as you have the plates us a sat nav to assist you in calibrating these are as accurate as you can get remembe though allow a percentage margin of error always on the safe side though ie set your speedo to read 40mph when the correct speed is 37 . then plod will have less chance pulling you.

PS well done on your pass just got it done in time for the good weather we've got.
