How many people have Locosts/MK's on the road macspeedy that you know of. I only know of Stu's Zetec powered locost in the central area. Scotlad seems to be well on with his tasty indyblade. When my car is on the road I'd be interested in attending.
Nothing I'm driving at the moment would take the punishment and the girlfriends Triumph GT6 would look pretty daft at something like this.

Cheers
JC

Sounds good, been waiting to get mine on the track. I am at home for that date so providing 'she' does not come up with anything I need to do I will be there.

Im up for a night out. Perhaps after, the boys want to go to the Gartwhinzean hotel Powmill for a coke or the halbeath brewers fare. Dunfermline boys will put us right Im sure.

Looks to be a good night out
For the Gart see http://www.fossoway.btinternet.co.uk/powmill.html 3 miles down the road with good link to central

Any chance of getting added onto the list????

I am building a 4AGE 'book' car, approximately half way there, well its a rolling chassis anyway.

Only problem is i am in the North of Scotland, i mean the very North (Caithness). Therefore meets are a bit out of the question for me. Do you know of anyone else north of Inverness building or built a Locost?

cheers

A wee day out

If enough of you are interested (and that includesthe lads in the north of Englandshire) then a 'Locost' day could be arranged at Kames at a very 'lo-cost'. Small track narrow and suits the genre ( I used to race a Westfield there). It's owned by East Ayrshire car club, and can be hired exclusively quite cheaply.

tell me what you think. ---gizmo---

anyone fancy taking me out on a wee trip round the track?

I will be there on the condition I have my trusty (ahem) fiesta back with new engine in situ.

failing that, its not too far to walk!

cheers
Mark
