Registered Traders
Is there any protection offered via this site if you encounter a problem with a trader that has signed up as a Registered Trader?
I have sent money to said trader over 3 months ago but the items have never turned up, the trader agreed over 1 month ago to refund me the money but
this has never happened.
Has it happened to anyone else on here, is it going to happen again, do I have a responsibility to protect my fellow members, does this site have a
responsibility to protect its members?
I will be very interested to hear what your views are.

On a different note, I have found alot of the supply problems I have had with parts from forum members (not members on here might I add) stems from
the supplier using the money I have paid them to fulfill a previous order placed by another member. It seems like no one "banks" their
money anymore and are for all intents and purposes, trading insolvently.

Of course I understand that Chris is a busy man and I think this site he runs is second to none. It just seems that time after time members post a
complaint about a certain person/s and everybody replies saying "that happened to me " with that person/trader. There are some bright guys
on here surely someone can come up with simple system of some sort. Barry

Thanks for your comments/views, I need to first point out that this is not an issue with this site I have been a member on here for close on 7
years(name change due to PC failure) and will continue even if my current project sells.
I did contact Chris and explained my position and asked for advice but I haven't received a reply so decided its better to do something than
nothing, although looking at this maybe I should of said something earlier.

I understand that some people may be of the view that its my problem and I should deal with it myself, which I will do anyway, but I do feel that its
the right thing to do and make other aware so they make an informed decision before sending over half your build budget and then crossing fingers if
they will ever see an end product!
Thanks
