Wtd: Help finding Wheels
After todays SG7 meet, ive decided that i need to find some proper wheels.
The skinnys got me some sideways action on the way to Baldock this morning which was good fun, but the tyres wont last 5 minutes and i want something
that inspires confidence that theyre not going to give way or let go at Every roundabout with a bit of thrust!
So, today i saw a set of Image wheels that were reeealy nice, but expensive.
Website
Im looking for something different / special for under the £200 mark with tyres. (Arent we all!)
Anyone have anything or know anywhere that i can get something to fit this somewhat ambitious criteria!

Aah, yes, sorry!
I need 108 PCD 4 Stud, something 15" or 16", with a depth of 205, 225 or even 235 for the rear and 185 or 195 on the front.
Its fairly flexible really, it all depends on the profile.
If 15", then 50 or 55
If 16", then 40 or 45.
This should give you some idea of whats needed.
Do you have a picture of the 15"? Might be interested if they are what im after.
Wheels are 185/65/14, so need to be the same diameter overall, but can be a maximum of 1" larger.

Hey there - good to see the new project today!
If you are going with a silver paint job, how about some black wheels for contrast.
I like the looks of team dynamics pro race 1.2.
These are on the bay of E, but look like they are 100 pcd not the 108 you need

Another vote for Team Dynamics, but they are not the cheapest.
I would check out tyre prices as well. Generally 15" are cheap as they are fitted to so many vehicles. 16" are less common so less
choooooooice in tyres, and less made, hence a higher price.
Also check you can get them under your existing arches and front mudguards. (Borrow a wheel and test first) You dont want to buy the wheels and tyres
only to find you have to modify the car to fit them!
Check all aspects before parting with your money.

Today was a good day. Nice to talk to everyone, but i think ill have to get an information board made up so that i dont have to bore everyone with
the same story over and over!
Youre right about the black wheels.
Ive found these
which would be really nice, but at £250 without rubber, is a bit away from what i was hoping to spend at the moment!
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Good point about the 16"s, the brother in laws mr2 turbo has 16" tires and now only has one make he can find in the right size.

No. 13" is too small. The car isnt a 7, and i dont have cycle wings that i can change to suit.
