Sierra drums and handbrake question.
Of those of you using Sierra drums. What have you done for the hand brake? To mee it seems that to fit the cable to the drum from the front facing
side (Sierra style) it seems a tight bend in the cable against the rear bulkhead.
Option one would be to turn the brake plate upside down but then the holes in the back plate will not align with the holes in the de dion axle.
Option two would be to swap sides left for right and right for left. What would be the effect on the braking with the leading shoe now becoming the
trailing one and vice versa?
Option three use as orignal donor.
Option four leave the drums on their correct sides and make some complicated set up to make it work.

My cylinders are at the rear, and the cable exits straight up passed the shocker before coiling round to the lever. Seems to work well although
I'm using chunky Landrover cables and Rover 200/400 handbrake lever.

On mine i turn the brake plates upside down elongating the back plate holes as necessary the centre spigot of the bearing carrier locates the back
plate central and works well.
