plastic bungs in car floor
What are the plastic bungs in a car's floor for? The Cappuccino has about 8 on each side and I have water on the driver's side floor of
mine. There is no evidence of water on the walls and there is no rust so perhaps one or more of these bungs is leaking. Can I just take them out,
seal them and fit them back in?

The holes are used to locate the body panels on assembly of the body. So you can remove and reseal.

..and most of the holes without bumgs (in chassis rails etc) are for positioning body alignment jigs. I have access to this information for miost cars
if anyone needs it.

often a good way to deal with a rust hole in the floor, make it round and stick a bung in it so it looks like its meant to be there
