ohhhhhh 40 bhp, should be pretty low lag, but a nice boost in torque too eh...

what sort of cash are you looking at?

I'm thinking about it at some point over the next few years...

Ahh you know it makes sense, you cant beat a bit of forced induction to liven things up

Who is doing the work for you?

yep lookin forward to it. had a few turbo motors before. i like a revver and havin extra mid punch will be lovely. Goin to mb customs. 2 week turnaround and not that costly. Looked at gettin parts myself but didn't save that much tbh. Could half cost if i bought through ebay off other cars, measured up front cone, source intercooler etc but for the extra i'd rather have new stuff. Worked out i should be runnin over 400 brake per tonne so it'll go quite well

dean nice to here your mac is still going well now you have finally got it back.
I met somebody on the southernkitcar club recently, i dont know if he is on here aswell. He has a turbo blade. He said he has had no internals changed just a decompression plate. he has water injection instead of an intercooler. The clutch is a latching clutch which slips up to a certain rpm then latches so it dont slip.
Just a different way to do it. He has had that set up for 3 years now with no issues. He also does long trips in europe which is impressive

Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

hi malc is a good bloke done both my turbo engines now.

with only 6psi may not even need a intercooler?? certainly 4 psi will be ok,

run high octane fuel and octane booster will be good,

trust me though once you have tasted the extra bhp you will want more,

good luck with the build,

i have a intercooler front mount that will be selling soon if any good to you,

or is malc making one for you ??

cheers

hey bi22le. Yep all back was without it for a good while! Its setup real nice now just need to wind rear clickers a couple stiffer as it wallows a little when pushed hard. You back in one yourself? What was the deal with your old one - that was up for sale! Surely thats a cat b?
