Wow how big is your garage to be able to drive around it fast enough to take the sump out? Or is it a council house and they've put a council
speed bump in your garage for safety?
I'm fairly sure I've got a spare sump knocking about. Re. the post tonight about donating to charity instead of paying for parts on
here, my locost is a registered charity.

They are not for safety, they are for traffic calming. How many cars do you have???
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

No it seems the two front axle stands were off balance after having the car sat on it for 10 weeks.
As i lowered the rear off the stands it rolled forward and the axle stand went straight through the sump.
Now in the process of taking the engine out to remove the sump.
Let me know how much and if you have paypal to get the money through.
Thanks.

Thats ok.
After all the years of it going on and off the stands, i have to bugger the sump when its full of oil and the car has been IVA tested.
I would not mind but its on the stands again to sort the IVA failure items.

If it is a standard sump it may be worth shortening it anyhow so even if the bottom is holed it's not the end of the world. IIRC David Jenkins
site shows how to do it.
