Engine Mount Plate thickness
Is 1/8" too thin for the landing plates on engine mounts? I'm thinking yes? What have others used?

That's about 3.2mm. That seems fine to me but that depends on how big the plate is!

I used 6mm plate at the engine and 3mm plate at the rubber mounts with 3mm wall thickness tube.

Depends on too many things surely, engine in question, design of mount, number of mounts.... If you're hanging a V12 engine off one mount 3ft
from the chassis sides...

I have used 1/8 th for the base plate on the chassis as it the same thickness as the westfield engine mounts I am using.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
