2LTR ZETEC OIL PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE????

Hi i took the oil pressure relief valve out because i was sufferent low oil pressure, When i undid it the spring and valve fell out, Can anyone tell me if the sprin goes in 1st or the valve and which way round?
