Mine was a brown renault 16.
Column change and an umbrella handbrake
poking out of the dash.
It was pig ugly but it was a lovely drive.

Well, I guess its technically a Locost but since it was in bits I dont think that really counts. So its a 2.0l TDDi Mondeo with 260000 miles on the
clock.

1969 Mini Van. when I was 10 in 1976................. took me near on three months to sus the point were shut !!!!
Some people can never handle the truth and always try to shoot the messenger instead of taking an honest look in the mirror (its always easier to
blame another than to face reality), but secretly they wish they could grow a pair and be the messenger !!!

Mk2 3 door Golf GTi 16v in blue (small bumper version)
Had 115,000 miles on it but went like a dream, handled like a go cart compared to the borrowed Mini and Citroens (dad owned a garage so drove all the
cast offs and trade ins!) I had driven previously. Luckily I lived to tell the tale but had a few hairy moments but was 22 when I got it thank god. If
I'd been 17 I would have got myself in trouble.

A 1968 VW Beetle.
Colour: Toilet Blue. Not sure VW called it that though.
It was great! Used more oil than petrol. Dont suppose running on just 3 cylinders helped as one piston had a huge hole in it as i found out when i
set to rebuilding the engine. In fact i had to scrap the whole engine as it so far gone and upgraded to a nice new shiny 1600cc which ran on
unleaded.....QUALITY!! Upped the bhp from 35 to oooohh around 50 i reckon!!

A mighty 4 speed 998cc pug 106.
Second was the westfield, bit of difference lol
You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.

Mk 1 Fiat Uno 60S, E-reg '87.
Though it was bought for me so technically my first bought and paid for was Alfa 146 1.6L M-reg '94.
The Fiat was loads of fun (so light with tin foil panels) and the Alfa felt like an improvement (it had more power and I wanted a boxer after my
Grandad's '87 pre-impreza Subaru) until I bought the current Focus.
That's my limited experience!

'74 Triumph 2000 TC saloon.
Loved the wood and cloth reclining seats with headrests - the height of luxury! (well, it was compared to my mates and their MK1 Escorts! )
I used to tell the wimmin that it was a Stag with a hard top!

Had it for 3 days before driving thru 3 garden.. Worse car ever since it was not able to take corners, at speed with 6 people on a damp road
