Autoaid Recovery

Has anyone used Autoaid, in particular for recovering a kit car. Any issues or recommendations?

Yes, I've been using it for about 5 years, recovered my car out of the hedge no problem.

You have to pay on the spot. I use a Barclaycard purely for that. Once you pay you send the invoiuce to AutoAid and they pay you back. I use credit card because it takes about a month before you pay it and that's long enough to get the cash back from autoaid.

I've got this too. From memory, it covers you and not the car (don't quote me on that)
My parents have had this for about 15 years.
My father has only used it to transport his "dead" mx5 that wouldn't start to the garage. No questions.
I only bought it because my green flag that came with my bank account didn't do an onward journey - they would only tow you 10 miles and then you had to pay big dollar and couldn't claim it back.

It's cheap too.
