Somewhere to test my car
Anyone know of a disused airfield in East Anglia or similar place where I can take my car for some road testing. I don't want to pay loads of
money for a track day, because I'm a tight arse! Also I don't want to get in anyone's way while I fiddle and fart around with my
car!

There's a nice big airfield just round the corner from you, I'm sure those Yanks won't mind if you borrow a corner for a while...

Eye airfield mate. Theres a sign up saying private property but theres never any problem with going on there. Just drive on. Theres always
learners there with there dads etc.

Pretty much correct...
...and the bits that aren't designated airfields are so flat that they'll do in an emergency!
