That was lucky!

Took Yvonne out in the Indy this morning, just for a quick shakedown. As we left the house it started spitting with rain. In ten minutes that developed into hard, heavy rain. Ten minutes later and we were driving in hail. At that point we turned around and raced for home.

Half an hour after we got home the, by now torrential rain, had turned into heavy snow. Newcastle had about 2" of snow in an hour this afternoon!!

Luckily we got back before I had to test my R888's in thick snow. Somehow I don't think they are rated as a winter tyre!

Back to drying out the car, again!

Was prepping mine for a nice drive in the sun this afternoon, when 20 minutes later hailstones were bouncing off my head :O

i got caught out in that snow i only had a tshirt on! and was about 2 miles from my house with no car!!

it was bloody freezing, amazing how quickly it turned to a nice evening again!

im sure ya tyres would have been fine (chuckle)
