Donington noise limits
After being measured for noise at Cadwell park last week at 96.7 dB(A) Ive been wondering if I can get in at Donnington.
I've spoken to the noise guy there who said they don't do static tests, only driveby tests and BECs are the worst. He was a helpful chap
but said that only a few BECs make the noise limits and only after they've spent serious money.
So how hard is it to meet their limits? I have 2 silencers fitted to my exhaust ( the engine noise is as loud as the tail pipe) and I have an intake
silencer fitted to my airbox.
Does anyone know what's needed to get a BEC into Donnington?

A knowledge of where the drive-by noise meters are
I've seen some cars go down the straight at quite high speed yet idling The speed does tend to roll off towards the end of the
straight though....

The noise meter at donnington is at the end of the pit lane just as you are about to enter Redgate Corner alot of cars run down the straight and let
of just before.
